Hey there,

I have a quick question. would you happen to know what frequency the central lock key fobs opperate at on a 1998 RHD hdj101?

I have door control receiver 8974160050 installed on my vehicle.

Kind regards

Josh.

From my research they use the same frequency as the US, but a different encoding.

Hello, have you had any success with this? I’m hoping to get duplicate keys for my same vehicle (1998 HDJ101) but am having trouble even finding a part number. It’s the single side-button key. I’m considering removing the chip and just gluing it next to the lock cylinder and then getting some dumb keys cut but I’d prefer a better option.

I’d be happy to hear about your success if you’ve had any.

Okay, just a follow up on this. 1998 HDJ-101K. Turns out there’s no immobilizer chip in mine, just a dumb cut key worked. Long blade Lexus style.
(Key no. LXP90). I hope this helps someone in future.
