Thanks for the correction cause the article said it stopped production in 2004 for the 70. Obviously the author has no clue. Thanks again for clearing it up.It is not new. The 7x series has been in production since 1984.
They are merely releasing a marketing version for the JDM.
The 70 model first went on sale in 1984, and it's still sold in the Middle East, Africa, Australia and other places, averaging 6,400 vehicles a month in sales.
But Japanese fans have long wanted the model back since it was discontinued here in 2004.
