OK, then it's just Greg to confirm...
I'm taking Friday off to do my brakes on the Cruiser, and pack everything up. 4 people will be good, and lots of room in the back for gear and parts...

Don't forget you have to take the 5 wheels back to Garner with you. :grinpimp:

Excellent!

I was kind of hoping to give him 5 wheels to take down but it looks like he is all filled up already...

I've got room going down to CLT... Just be myself and my stuff. And maybe Greg, if he'll ever chime in!

OK, updated info. I'll be leaving the triangle around 3 or so (after a total rear brake job on the 80). Meet Al at his house (or designated dinner/beer venue) and crash at his place. We'll leave CLT to get to Watkinsville at around 5?? or so?

Looks like rain on both days, but not too bad temperature-wise. Good wrenching temps...

Jerry, I'll be home all day on Friday so I can swing by on my way out of town, if you're around.

If you are heading this way to get out of town, that would be great. I'll be around all morning on Fri until I go to work ~1pm. I can leave them next to the garage door so you won't have to leave early just to meet up.

I can also drop them off at your house if need be.

Question to Al, do you want a check first? Or, is payment upon pick up when complete?

Thanks...

Let me check.... with Brian I just gave him cash first.... I think it would be a payment first thing unless you, yourself, were comming to pick them up. Cash, check and maybe credit card over the phone to Bobby could be arranged. Let me know what you are most comfortable with.

That's the plan. Anyone else is more than welcome to come grab some floor space and then ride down in the morning.

Also in case people didn't know there has been a paypal account set up for donations to this great cause it is in the UC post.

Sorry all. Plans have changed for me. Another person to add to the statistics. Wife just got layed off again. This is the second time that i have had to do something like this because of that. Last time it was about the 45. Got to cut some stuff out.

Sorry to hear that Darin. Best wishes on the job hunt for the Mrs.

So, anyone dependent upon my plans, push everything back by about 3 hours! I didn't get to leave the house at 3, and will probably be stretching it if I get out of here at 6... Al, sent you a message, unless you and Andy are planning on me for dinner plans, I'll grab something on the way...

John, it looks like I'll grab the stuff on Sunday

Jerry, I'm still swinging by your house...

Al and Brian just wanted to say thank you for all your help this weekend. Meant a whole lot. Plus it was good to see some fellow ONSC members around.

Brian/Al,

any pics info from the weekend?

I didn't take any, my camera didn't leave the car. I'm hoping more will be published to the original thread, but maybe Al took some with his phone...

Had a blast, and learned a lot... Really liked how that carb looked on that engine!

There was a blurb at local online paper...

Oh, and the chili was awesome! Thanks so much for taking care of that for the whole group.
