I'm planning on coming as well. I think the plan right now is to meet Stan there and take delivery of my 80 with new bumper... w00t! I've got to leave the truck with Darin that week for additional work so a good opportunity to meet more of you guys/gals.
 
Yep, Going up to Uwharrie in the morning for a meeting, then coming back this way will stop at Mike's and then meet up with Mike / Stan. Giving Stan this hulk so he can make some good stuff for 80's for people.
 
Oh crap, this is next week! I've gotta get my ass in gear and finish putting Moonshine back together!!

Drove her to the meeting on Wednesday and work today, so that's two big steps in the right direction :D

67 degrees outside..took mejane for her first ride with work done. A trip around the block turned into an hour up 24 and back, multiple stops for no particular reason. I effin love this beast..Cant wait to see everyone AND do some work!

QUESTIONS to attendees - got a gopro I want to experiment with; Id like to bring it and set it up in a corner, leaving it on all day. I wanna fool around with some time lapse/hamom footage..any objections?

Driving for fun is the best way to enjoy a Land Cruiser :D

I wish I had a gopro to film my last HAMOM with. No objections at all! What types of mounts do you have for it?

Ive never owned a vehicle that caused me to wake up bright eyed and say "TODAY IM DRIVING!" Positively one of the best parts of any day is spent in or with a landcruiser!

The gopro mounts, I picked up the rollbar/bike/mount and random parts n pieces. Also making a rail mount for my walther.

I REALLY REALLY want to make a gimbal mount for the 40 ..but that is beyond my capability- the huz claims he can do it..we shall see!

That is the plan. Heather and I'll be trailering your 80 up to Mike's then picking up a roller from Darin to bring back to the shop. Plan is to hang out for a while and meet some folks in the club.

Just to update. I'm not gonna need that army to lift my body off. I'm postponing till warmer temps and hoping my boss will finally get a lift in the garage in the spring. Instead im gonna adjust the front springs on sandy a bit.
On a different note we need to get some sort of food plan for Saturday lunch and dinner. I figure all other meals during the weekend will be on the fly. Typically those who are getting work done are the food and brew suppliers. I'll supply burgers and dogs for everyone Saturday dinner.
I invite everyone to stay the night and enjoy the bonfire at days end. Plenty of warm shelter for everyone but bring sleeping bags and air mattresses. Also some atv trails to have fun on if anyone wants to bring one too.
 
May still show up if even for a little bit.... trying to work an angle here.

I figured on a store run once we got there Friday...ill make breakfat omelets and fried taters to get us going Saturday.
