Sorry for the double pic post. Here is the after specs. from the alignment master.

Hopefully it will be a lot more stable. I feel like I really really need panhard bars made for a 4"lift

How did you adjust caster?

I am stumped. Are you positive that the toe was set correctly prior to the work we did?

I didn't... The way the heads have to be installed on the wheels with these tires is weird. I just perfected the way they were mounted while adjusting toe and re swung caster check.

Man are u sure no one pulled the tie rid off?? I new from ur simptoms the toe would be ser in but if nothing was removed it should gave changed at all. Any change in camber will result in a little change in toe but if the lift was pretty new with non sagging springs the plates should have put them close enough to stock that it wouldn't matter..... certainly not that much.

This will just be a mystery for the ages, but glad you got it fixed.

So do you think you got an accurate reading?
Just wondering if your readouts changed after repositioning the machine heads then reported a different figure; then was the first or second reading correct? do you think it is repeatable, meaning could your mount and read again with the same results.

I just saw the camber changed too so was wondering to the accuracy of the reading. It seems repositioning the machine affected the output recorded. Not that I doubt you oh alignment master :D just picking your brain as I need to get some readings on mine to identify a pull i have and get a better understanding of the system. Wanna wrestle another set of MT's i got the lil ones on for ya ;)

had a chance to drive yet? impressions?

Yeah I noticed the incorrect positioning of the alignment head while I was about to adjust toe. So I fixed the head, and reswung to get new measurements. Just never hit "save before measurements" again. The toe didn't change from the measurements with the incorrectly mounted head due to the angle of the mishap. I guess I should have clarified that the "before" wasn't the true "before".

Yeah even I have to admit how bad that came out. I'll not pick on you for a week.

I'd venture to guess the toe was off to begin with, but was exaggerated by the change in steering geometry. Anytime you lift a vehicle, any steering or suspension problem gets magnified.

I'll know if its fixed on my ride home. Having the correct length panhard bars will help. Any clue where I can get them?

TJM and ironmand have them also, probably MAF too..... pick a vendor and dial em up

i wouldnt say panhards would be your cure all. Ive had 4'' springs for years with no panhard adj and been "fine". Granted my castor is still not in spec and i have a high tolerance for putting up with annoyances but the panhards havent been an issue for me in my eyes nor do I believe they are cause for my wandering. One rear axle rubs on one side, front on the other. I did install a front bar but the new bushing split this weekend after not much use but I never noticed a ride change due to it alone. HTH

then again if you change yours and it drives perfectly straight maybe ill rethink my thinking :D
good luck on the drive home, keep us posted

Well the fact that I'm driving him without fear for my life certainly means my wander is fixed..

I found out frankies sells weld in adjusters pretty cheap
