Well it seems it is my turn to host the help a member of the month and this means it is time to start building Mary E's 80 :grinpimp:


Location: 108 morning glory pl
pendleton, sc

Time: Sat Jan. 12th 10am


The main plan for the day will be to install a 2.5 OME lift on to Mary Ellyns FJ80; I haven't done any wrenching on an 80 before so I am need you 80 guys to show up for this one (Dan:D) From what I understand this should be a fairly straight forward install easier than lift a 40 from what I hear. If we finish up with the lift and are feeling motivated I am sure there will be a few issues needing addressing in my FJ62 to get it ready for sale :D

Show if you want to do some wrenching and shoot the breeze ...... I'll provide the free beer and food :cheers:
 
I'm in little bro. What can I bring? Floor jack?
 
Cant make it man, have to work, again. :) Seems like every weekend this month is gone. Erskine Offroad trip, working, voting, and something else as well (cant remember the CFO isnt up for me to ask.) :)

I'll be there...but I have almost 0 wrenching skills and even fewer tools. I'll help you out with some of the food if that will pay my way.

as far as tools I have a floor jack but if someone wants to bring and extra one that would be all right; besides that the only other thing I don't have is an air compressor and associated tools.... that would be a big help!

I can bring my very loud compressor if no one else has one. Let me know toward january 11th . . .

Ah, yes, leaving out the "Z" . . . one of the seven deadly sins on Mud.

1. Installing your bezel upside down.

2. Leaving the E off of 3F

3. Spelling "Land Cruiser" with no space between the words.

4. Claiming to own a "rust free" 40.

5. Posting a thread on an issue that is covered by a FAQ.:flipoff2:

6. Posting a thread without pics.

7. And the ultimate sin, leaving the Z out of FZJ or UZJ - - unforgiveable!

Hey, its not like you worked for the trail team or have owned several cruisers or .....
I don't know if I can make it but if anyone is coming from over here, I have 4 6 tone jack stands that I used to do mine that you can borrow....could have picked them up when you were over for the game.
