My new to me 98 Lx is missing the jack, the tool kit and the spare tire.
When I get new wheels, as currently is all stock, one of the stock will become a spare, but what should I be looking for to replace the jack and tools?
I have seen a picture on ebay of the stock jack, and it looks Ok - a small bottle jack that jacks on the body and the axel.
However, people want $100's for it, so I am looking to see if there is a better kit that people are using?

I plan to stay mostlystock for now - so high-lifts/extra height isn't needed for now.
Something that fits in the little cubbie would be best - right now I have a big tool kit just dumped back there and it gets annoying.

the factory bottle jack is well worth 100 bucks.. its superior to any bottle jack youll find on a shelf anywhere. that being said, you could pull a toyota bottle jack from a parts yard for about 12 dollars. the tools are still available new from toyota, but theyre pricey. youre better off grabbing a set on ebay, there is a tire changing kit and also a tool roll with a few wrenches and pliers in it.

How high does the LX jack lift? There a factory toyota jack for sale here, but I am not sure what it is out of or how high it should lift.
