clutch is on its last leg ,perfect time to do a 3spd to 4spd tranny swap,should i keep my 3spd transfer and mate to 4spd tranny or install 4spd trans/tfer combo any advantage between the two,anybody got a 4spd for sale , 4spd bellh,clutch fork,drive shafts basically everything needed to do the swap other than clutch kit ,im interested in ,im in the ga area.74-f engine. thanks in advance

If you think you may want to swap in aN SM420, I know where a few of them are. I don't know where you are in Ga., but Dallas Auto Parts has one & White's Auto Repair (Rockmart area) has three last time I was there.

thanks for the input hamma,saw that item myself might end up being a good deal,the more tech links i read the more confused i get,my 40 is driven 75%street,25% trail im lookin for the easiest way to make top end speeds a little more comfortable,any advice?
an overdrive or biger tires... but not a new tranny the 3sp and the 4sp have the same top gear 1:1
