so, distributor experts out there...im trying to identify which pertronix kit to get...the ones most advertised for 40's is the 78-74 kit, as well as the 75-77.....but my ride is an 81...and the engine has probably been changed more times than you shake a stick at...i tried to id the year of the current block...to no avail...numbers been grinded off....any thoughts? im also in need of the petronix coil....any input as far as the ohm rating to match the the ignitor etc?

It's an early vac advance unit I believe. I've seen one on a 67 before. I'm not sure though.
