Man albert... that sucks. Take the original bottom end and throw the 4runners head on it?

Bought the 4Runner with a rebuilt block and no head. So thats the engine in the truck with the the head from the extra cab.

Hello, your truck called and said its wants to go out are you not treating her right?;)

well It's time to start to start stacking up parts for the 4Runner

I guess the 1st thing it going to need to wheel is a donor vehicle with parts. This 83 will do, this is a jem in my eyes. Almost did not pick it up in time.

I could see the value in the second shot it was hard to see what he was after in the first :hhmm: Nice find Albert looks like the 4-Runner has a donor :)

With the trip next year coming fast upon us I figured better get started on the 4Runner. Pushed it into the shop and could not even turn the wheel a quarter of a turn before the 34" would hit the running boards

Did not have to remove the fenders but sure does give you more room for moving around so the IFS stuff can come off and get ready for the SAS.

This 85 solid axle will replace the IFS. John S. has nothing on my angle iron steering set up or mother nature green paint job

One of my helpers on the job, not sleeping in a chair but in the bed of my truck. And we know who drives the red 4runner.(BIG thanks for them giving up days to help get this done  )

This is just the start but it is set up with F-150 rear springs in the rear and Toyota rear 4Runner springs up front. Same set up as the Silver truck so I hope it preforms close to it.

The list is long that still needs to be done but I'm hoping to scratch a few off in the next few months.
