i up the offer to $5:)

HA, ya'll are funny. No pictures but motor/trans is installed, need to hook up a/c stuff and radiator along with trans coller lines. Need the brown truck to show up with marlin crawler 5.29 locked diffs . Sliders need to get welded on. Picked up some used 35" Wrangler MTR's . Last step will be waiting for :princess: to let me know what color she wants it.Making progress getting more day light after getting of work which is helping.

Albert is the "stealth builder" .. and his Skunk Works shop over there... He's quiet ..lol.

thought was goin to b Holstein pattern white N pink oH! no my bad that is what Tina wants on her Runner

I believe I can put down the cutting torch and grinder for a little while on the frame and suspension. The front is now SAS and shock hoops and steering box plates are in place. Everything is primed the engine /trans tcase is in . the front and rear axles are left to get cut and shaved. Front and rear thirds showed up from Marlin. It will be running the aluminum rims but here it is mocked up with the spare 35" MTR's

Looking good bud, keeping working you will reach a "good enough for now" period.;p

when i get my daily driver back, im gonna have to drop my truck and all my parts off at your house!!!!!!

Awesome. Hope to see it on the trails.

Slow but making progress.Spent a little time and started on the rear axle. Figured what is the worst that can happen. I had a third that had broken teeth, so I put it to use so that I would not warp the axle in the cutting and welding process.

Did not like the factory fill hole so while I was at it I drilled and added a new fill hole that was higher and easier to use with out spilling so much

I found an old grader blade that you pull behind a tractor, figured it was hard and strong enough to grade with it should make a good plate the the bottom on the axle. I think these pictures just don't show it real good but it did turn out to be a real smooth bottom

lookin good!

yup when ya get a MIG dialed in on the material that you are workin on they do lay a purrdy bead.

I know the 4runner runs now lets see it roll. [STRIKE]We [/STRIKE] I need updates.

Made a few mods to the interior, Welded in some brackets to the roll bar on both side. On the drivers side it will hold the CO2 tank, The top of the roll bar helps protect the valve.

The next mod is nothing fancy but if you have a 4Runner you know that there are no cup holders in these vehicles. Since this 4Runner does not have a rear heater I removed the factory center console and put in a simple one from the auto center from Walmart. :D I now can have a place to put my soft drink after leaving the drive threw window . I just extended the wire and relocated the three switches for the rear window.

Nothing new on the front end just really liking the way the flat steering arm came out. OH and also liking the KM2's
