Since this is a global org. I would think something along the lines of a stamp like you see in your passport when you go into different countries. The round shape works well - A line drawing of a landcruiser that incorporates the basics of all the cruisers. the TLCA name and a mission statement. I would keep it fairly transparent color wise so it could "stamp" over just about anything - ( and it should not only from a marketing stand point- but also from an approval approach) i.e. - this event is sanctioned by the TLCA {{{{ stamp}}}}

Perhaps a small amount of color around the edge in a purple or something appropriate for a stamp.

I can brainstorm more ideas - have to jet to work right now ;)

PS
also a good link to include on the main site - http://tlc.toyota-europe.com/main_frame.html

comment: Business link....some of the business write's look to be just tossed in there...it would be worth the effort to clean the wording and double check info (I know mine is wrong.... ;) )

Love the clean look tho, seems to load pretty quick....

only other issue is the Vendor banners at the bottom will almost never be seen, particularly on long pages....paid slots like these outta be pretty front/center...perhaps a side-banner for the memberdrive and a top/mid banner for the vendors.

Liz does nice work :D

Only had time for a quick peek, but what I saw looked real good! And the link to my site was there too! Whoohoo! :bounce: :bounce: :beer:

How about a Tech chapter? Didn't there used to be a history of the Land Cruiser on the old TLCA website, or was that somebody else?

Oh, very, very nice. Good job all those involved. Guess I'll renew next time around. :D

I would second this, specially after making the LSLC banner...then realizing it will be at the bottom of those pages.

I also understand the reasons against a side banner as the "above the fold" of the screen could look very cluttered with ads.

Is there a win-win out there?

Your concern has been noted and passed on. I've requested through channels that the standard banner be placed "above the fold" on our web pages. We're just getting out of the gate with our new and improved web site. I'm sure this will be addressed in due time.
