Actually the turn signals are where they were on my 73. Garry Turpin

Ahh he's alive! Great to see who links to your stuff and your local. Was actually talking about the little white circles over the headlights.

So tell us some history about you and the cruiser?

Crossing Number Three

The painting of the cruiser was from a photo taken of me crossing the Horsepasture River in western NC around 1976. Since then the roads leading into the Horsepasture area have been closed and only limited access prevent others from seeing some of the most beautiful wilderness east of the Mississppi. We've backpacked in and it's a tough go. I sold the cruiser in late 70's and missed having it since its departure. I have acquired a new FJ Cruiser and am very pleased with its capabilities and appointments. I guess the ruggedness and tank like quality of the older cruiser is a thing of the past. Thanks for visiting my website and checking out my artwork. I do have prints available of "Crossing Number 3" if anyone is interested, leave an message frommy site or gt@garryturpin.com.
