nice

v6?

Yes v6. The 2.7 lacks a little power for me personally. Plus I wanted to be able to tow if needed.

Your right gumby. can I borrow that camper of yours?

Way cool, Jer........

Bring, or post a pic...is it white?

The camper on a 5th wheel would be cool...

I, too, have a new vehicle in my garage...its a project, but it runs & moves
A little something different for me, but I have always wanted one
Its a 73 VW Beetle...Baja style

It's silver, Tony Here is the long awaited picture of this finely crafted machine......

Super sweet.....happy for you...but im jealous

hella sweet, you liking the 3.4 5speed?

Yeah. It's a really nice combo. No struggling getting on the highway. Don't need to downshift going up that hill on i55 near bluff road. It cruises around 2100rpm at 60mph. It looks like I'm gonna get some decent mileage out of this first tank.

Nice. When is it gettting a solid front axle, bob, tube bed, etc? Does it have the 4.10 gearing or 4.30? At 70mph, my 3rd gen cruises at just under 2300

My 3.4/5 speed with 35s is running bout 2100 rpm at 70 mph
Lifted 4.10s & 35s I get 18.2 average mpg
Plus its really fun to drive

Im not sure by how much, but I know my revs are higher than that with 4.10 and stock tires. But I do get 22/26 mpg, and it pulls pretty hard in 5th gear. I never have to down shift, once on the highway.

Yeah...I was off a bit....bout 2200/2300 @ 65mph, 2400/2450 at 75 mph

I was just on the interstate & checked it

55 mph is bout 2100

Gas milage number I gave is right
