If you guys know of anything, I'm mildly on the hunt for a 2nd road and trail rig, 'cause Scout seriously hates the pickups and the FJ60 is dragging out.
See my WANTED post here: Wanted - WTB Wheelable 90-94 4Runner Southwest US
Ideally 90-94 4Door 4Runner to keep parts the same, or maybe blazer, bronco, scout?? I'd look a 55 or 60 if the $$ is right but thats unlikely
Needs to be close to wheelable but I'll look at something that needs help.
I won't pay for good paint, straight panels, etc because, well, lets be honest they won't last
Thanks in advance, you guys are the best 👍

I've got an 89 Bronco. Used to sit on 35's with a 4 inch body lift (dont have the tires anymore.) Needs a bit of work. Was in the middle of repainting it, and just had enough of the thing and want to get it out of my driveway. Needs a bit of work, but ran fine last year. Needs a new oil pan, and then for the new power steering pump I bought for it to be plumbed up, but that's about it. If you're interested I can take pictures.

That’s interesting! I had a hand in a 94 that was a pretty wicked rig. Ya PM me some details and pics when you can. Don’t go outta your way.

dang that interior is sweet!
I'll PM you

I wanted to do something entirely practical and fill a few gaps in my vehicle fleet
Then I saw something pretty And this happened
I’m sure the ideal 2nd gen solid axle swap 4Runner needing a motor will now become available for dirt cheap.
Oh well, off to the land of regular cabs and carburetors

What year?

I like it! I second Pappy’s question - what year? Maybe like ‘84? That’s got to be the prettiest truck in your fleet!

Evan, close, ‘85. It’s hard to tell in pics, it’s a long bed and yes it’s a pretty color but it’s very well worn.
I’m seriously thinking the 4.3 v6 I’m hoarding for the 4Runner should just go in it... it’s just sitting there in the parts truck

Mitchell that I got it from has a wicked cool fjcruiser and a sweet LX450, I’m hoping he’ll stop by here.

The 4.3 in there would be perfect. I had an ‘86 that ran forever, but the 22R was definitely underpowered.

4.3?

The Chevy 4.3 Vortec conversion into mini-trucks was a popular conversion back in the day. Along with Buick 231 V6 engines.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification. It's too bad that there are more resources for transplanting Chevy engines into Toyotas than there are swapping in different Toyota engines.
