It's a driver's side firewall graft done by Rick D and Mike Francis at Rock Solid Offroad in Hemet Ca. I think the firewall was from 74 or 75. It has rod carb linkage. The clutch master was part of the graft as was the hole for the electrical, the clutch fluid line to the slave cylinder mounts on the left side. The wagon is now running and I'm putting the door windows in this week.

i've got the same setup in my 65...a swapped in 76 firewall.

76 firewall what? i have a 78 55 that is the donor for the engine, axels, trany etc. could i use it? what is the pro for using this set up? not having to use a bracket? i have the factory PS in the 78 which i will be swaping over. will the factory PS work with the LV linkage, or should i figure on using a Saginaw box? i know with the Sag. box you get rid of some linkage which is good, so i imagine the truck drives nicer than a stock 66 would?

Steering box incompatability: 40-Seireis & 50-Series

The 40-series and the 50-Series use different steering boxes and are not interchangable.

55 is going to have a completely different shaped firewall, but you might be able to get patches from it, for bolt pattern etc. won't help you on the brace though. best bet is to find a later fj40
