Is this 85 FJ60 too far gone? Need some advice. (1 Viewer)

I need some advice from this experienced group. Seller wants $8500 for this 85 FJ60. The rust looks really bad and have been told this one is too far gone. Engine runs okay. Need some advice. Thank you for the comments!

That looks like some bad body work is not coming back through the paint. Who know what is under the entire paint job. I would also recommend you look at the frame very close. With that much body rust, the frame might be the bigger issue. At that price I would keep looking. You will find a cleaner one...be patient.

If that one is worth 8500, I better reconsider how much I was going to ask for mine. You can do a lot better out west. Shipping sucks but so does having a rotten truck.
