Is there any difference in body panels between the years?

hey guys,
My misses old man has given me a 1973 model fj45 ute, and the body on it is really bad with rust, can keep a couple of things off the body for it because they are fibreglass. i really want to know is the body parts such as doors and everything to do with the body on a different year model so to say 1977 model going to be the same as my 1973 model fj45. it is just really hard to find in australia a nother 1973 model.

the doors will all fit all years... have to change the strikers and the handles will be different but you will be able to make them work with out much trouble. fenders will all change along with hoods.

I have seen problems if you try and mix and match hoods and aprons with split hoods and "regular" hoods. It is about 1/2 off. Someone said that the hinge is the issue. I don't know the answer, but I would mock anything up before you paint it if you are mixing up stuff
