I hate to make a thread for what should be such a simple question but i can't find a clear answer to it anywhere.
My truck has the nav package with integrated hvac controls.

The mark levinson amplifier on my 05 lx is going bad, at best the radio works for a few minutes before harshly cutting out with a screech, but most of the time it doesn't work at all or works for 30s before screeching.
I hastily ordered a T'eyes cc3, as i figured replacing the whole headunit was a better option than spending the same to either refurbish or replace the amplifier.
Now it's here and i was going to install it but the same question remains in the back of my mind, doesn't it require the factory amp to output to the speakers?
So before i tear my dash apart and install this crap i want to know for sure, Does the T'eyes require the factory ML Amplifier to output sound, or does it completely bypass it and it's not required

If anyone has a clear install guide for the T'eyes they know of for the 470 i'd also love it. Seems mostly to be a jumble of videos and photos

ML amp isn't needed. A couple of installations done recently:

And the T'eyes CC3 page has some pretty decent installation tips.

Hmm maybe i asked the question incorrectly or it should have been obvious to me from the getgo (sort of was) but after installing the T'eyes i still have no audio and am quite confident it does indeed require a working Mark Levinson amplifier or some sort of amplifier under the seat to transmit the audio signal from the head unit to the speakers.
Unless i am missing something and the amp is cut out of the equation, with my amp broken there is no way to pass a signal from my headunit to my speakers.
It seems from reading the thread LX470 2004 | Need help with Android Screen - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lx470-2004-need-help-with-android-screen.1277592/page-37 some sort of amplifier is required and a lot of LC guys are replacing their jbl with the soundstream amp, Which i don't mind doing but it opens a new can of beans because i'm not sure the factory bypass harness everyone is using works for the levinson amp?

You won't need this for the LX with ML. An aftermarket amp will need power (I reused the power to the ML amp), connections to the speakers (already there however you will need to check which cables run to which speakers), and connections to the T'eyes.

To connect to the T'eyes, the most common way would be via RCA cables (FL, FR, RL, RR, Sub) or digital (Optical or Coax S/PDIF). Very few amps accept a digital connection, although I will give a plug for the Alpine DSP Amp. However at US$800 ish might be too much spend...
