Per title, I'm in the process of installing a T'eyes CC3 in my 2006 LC100 which has a JBL nav/sound system. I tried a Grom Vline2 for a couple weeks but using the original display just isn't cutting it for my aged eyes. My questions are related to OEM connections. First photo is of the two antenna connectors. So, why 2? The original location was on the back of the JBL sound unit. Unclear where they might go on the CC3. It has one antenna port but the larger OEM connector is smaller than the port on the CC3 (and smaller than the antenna connectors that I've usually seen). The other OEM connector is even smaller. Is the smaller one video from the OEM backup cam?

Next pic is of a two-headed connector that was not connected to anything when I installed the Vline. The two pieces mate so it makes me think they are a feed-through wire bundle. I think the other end feeds back to the computer behind the glove box.

So what is the function of this cable assembly?

Making progress on the T'eyes install actually. The unit does seem to control AC correctly, steering wheel controls work, bluetooth good, Android Auto working, and the display itself is crisp and clear. I do have the "hiss" as reported in other CC3 threads. I suppose a new amp is in the future, but I'd like to get the radio working, even with the hiss, before going that route. (I thought I came across a backpanel schematic for the OEM JBL system somewhere but can't seem to find it now. If anyone has a pointer to it, thanks.)

So, TIA!

Some years of the 100 have two antennas. You can either use just the big one or combine them with adaptors like these:

Not sure what antenna inputs the Teyes units have...

As for the unknown connectors, do you have the wiring diagram for your model year? I would highly suggest finding the PDF or getting a hard copy, usually from ebay. You'll find it very helpful, and it should with a little reading tell you what those connectors are for. If the system was working fine before, I would NOT connect them. You could short something. FYI I believe the computer behind the glovebox is the engine ECU.

Read through the 42 pages of this thread last night: LX470 2004 | Need help with Android Screen - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lx470-2004-need-help-with-android-screen.1277592/

and got tons of info except for what that cable bundle and the two connectors does. I guess I'll be ordering an amp soon.
@glorm - did you end up ordering an amp? Were you able to address the hiss? How are you liking the setup? I am considering making this move on my 06 LC as well. Thank you.

Hi Joe, I did order and install one - Amazon.com: Soundstream PN5.640D Picasso Nano 640 W 5-Channel Class D Digital Car Audio Amplifier : Electronics - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G051S7I?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

It did eliminate the hiss, that's the good news. The bad news is, I think there is a very high pitched tone when it's turned on with no input. I phrased it "think" because I have persistent tinnitus and actually have trouble hearing the tone, lol! My wife is almost deaf in one ear so she's no help either, haha! Seriously, the tone is not very loud and it's much better than the hiss. Perhaps a better amp might solve it 100%, dunno. Regardless, I'm happy with the setup except for a few minor annoyances. Not having the volume knob on the existing unit work is one. The climate controls via the teyes works, but too many button presses to get there. I've installed the climate-100 apk and it works but the temp numbers don't nor does the fan setting number. Lastly, I use my phone's hotspot instead of android auto because AA sometimes won't connect. Also, the AA screen is pretty restrictive, I actually like the teyes screen layout much better.

Hope that helps!

This helps a ton - thanks for taking the time to share this info - I will probably give this a go!
