No. The headers were premade and they came with premade collector tubing. I pitched the collector tubing and had the collectors custom fabricated with mandrel tubing and a flowmaster y connector. The rest of the exhaust is also custom done with butt welded mandrel bends.

Downey. I think they discontinued production, but there may be some other manufacturers. I saw a couple of different options in another exhaust thread. A good speed shop/fabricator can fabricate them from a kit.

I've always found my 80 particularly quiet(well except when I ride in my dad's 100). I have had friends walk past my truck on a wheeling trip several times before they even realized it was running. One friend had to put his hand on the fender to see if there was any vibration 'cause he couldn't believe it was running.

My whole Land Cruiser was premade.
Thank goodness. My engine block fabbing skilz are a little rusty(no pun intended).
