Have been testing a updated XF install, found a conflict in the search indexing. Should be corrected later today.

Still stumbling with searches. Seem I can't search for anything from like 2005-2015 and nothing in certain sections. For example I'm trying to find a water pump tech thread I posted in the 70 Series section. I get zero results when I search for "pump" user cruiseroutfit in the 70 Series.

Nope... the thread I'm after is 70 specific and the word pump appears multiple times.

For example:
Fan Blade & Clutch Tech for BJ7x with 3B/13BT (A440F & H55F Models
BJ7x owners - anyone not running a fan clutch? ($10 water pumps!!!)

Yet

Oddly I found it by searching the same way with "blade". Perhaps "pump" is to short for the search?

Edit again: found the exact post I was after, "pump" doesn't pull it up.

I'll look into it more....we've reindexed search multiple times, and clearly something isn't right. Due to the size of the database, the setup is a bit customized, and runs XFES for all Advanced searches. I'll dig more into it (well, get my sysadmin on it....)

XF has made improvements for XF2.0, and I've spent the past couple weeks prepping the site to move to 2.1 once it's out of Beta.

Fixed....that took FAR more time than it should have....appears I need to manually babysit the entire re-index process....uugh....

I know there are a ton of 2.1 improvements, hopefully the enhanced search features for large forums is on that list.
