Have a factory setup that is not running a fan-clutch (viscous coupler)? If so, where is your Cruiser from? Pics of the solid fan please :D

DIY shows a spacer that's not available now. It must be for engines without the viscous coupler. All the turbo models appear to have had the viscous coupler.

I've always thought about doing a direct fan. Or even a electric fan to save some space.

Say the word, I've got a pallet of AISIN (OE manufacture) water pumps that I'd love to start finding a home for. We've had a bit of luck moving some to international outfits but not so much locally :D

I noticed that several BJ40's in Latin and Central America with the "old" style B engine run direct driven fan's. I believe in Europe they could be found on a few 1976 and 1977 BJ's everything newer there was running a fan clutch.

Any interest in these water pumps? $10/EACH but you have to buy 2 minimum to make it worth boxing them up

These are brand new AISIN WPT-039's. They are designed for a 3B powered 7x Series (and other Toyota's as shown) WITHOUT a fan clutch. We have a pallet load of them and they need to find a new home. Buy 10 and get 5 free :D PayPal or CC LMK

It's quite possible some internals could be salvaged or used for something else.

Wow, running one of those would be a hell of a lot classier than the way I Fixed the clutch in my last 3B...

Out of curiosity, do these locate the fan further forward taking up the space of the clutch so they could be a direct swap for clutch equipped 3Bs?

Correct, with the OE spacer in place they height is near identical

My new zealand new 3b had no fan clutch ...Sorry it all got sold when i fitted the 15b , so no pics
The 3b ran one big belt and the 15b runs 2 thin ones ......I bought a new water pump for the 15b , it was the same as the 3b pump but , but the 3b pump didnt have the outlet for ACSD water supply.

Bumpski, let's find these orphan pumps a home (or a better use). Who needs a neat AISIN paper weight?

Bump, back in town and still have a few cases of these needing a new home :D

My PZJ70 has no fan clutch and I would suspect all the BJ42s here are the same.

Cheers

I'd be curious to know. Let me know how many cases you need :D

Don't make me toss all these in the recycling bin! Use them as a paperweight, artwork, or craft project :D

Bumpski. These and many other low sales volume AISIN parts are getting liquidated. Speak up if you want any of these!
