I think the rock crawling in Windrock at the 70’s Meet may have taken a toll. Check out video link below.
Pulled out on road, hit accelerator, high revs and spinning sound.
Idled home w little throttle.
Couldn’t even back up driveway on slight incline.
Help request for info, guidance, recommendations, etc.
Prado clutch spinning?

That makes 2 of us.

I'm assuming a seal is leaking oil from the transfer case and getting on the clutch face causing slippage.

Mine was usually in 3rd or 4th gear, especially on hills.

We did make it home. Will be looking at it next week or so.

Pull the rubber boot off the clutch fork and check for oil.

Based on your video, slipping clutch is a clear possibility. Did you notice any unusual smell after an instance of slipping? If so, did it seem to come from the engine/tranny?

If it is the clutch, you can remedy it easy enough. The clutch is a wear item. You purchased the truck used and not directly from the original owner, so you don't have insight into driving habits (history) before you purchased her.
When I replaced the clutch on my 70, I have a lift in the shop was a great aid. I did borrow the transmission jack from a friend. As such, my costs were limited to parts and such (~$800 or less).

Clutch (clutch disk & pressure plate) (under $400 as I recall)
Flywheel machining (well under $100 as I recall)
Clutch Slave Cylinder (again under $100 as I recall)
Rear Main Seal (checked it and it was good, left it knowing that motor was over 400k km and subject to rework later)
Gear Shift Removal Tool (under $50 as I recall, I found it worth the investment because it makes removing the gear shift much easier; right tool for the job)

It is likely that you don't have a shop at your house, but check around with your friends and your local TLCA/cruiser community. A job like this could be a handy project between friends on a winter/rainy Saturday. Especially, if you are furnishing lunch and refreshments. Good luck

Didn't notice an odd smells. I'll try to check it tomorrow with that specifically in mind. Thanks

No oil at the boot. See photos. First outside the boot. Then one w boot pulled off and partial view inside.

There is some grease at the bottom foam filler piece. Looks like it probably slung up from drive shaft.

@LDowney
Checked tonight and I don’t reallly detect a smell.
Check new video link below- really just audio.
Odd rattling noise when in Neutral revving and returning to idle.
Much louder when shifting to Reverse and letting clutch pedal out.
Similar when trying first.
Something about it just seems odd - different from a slipping clutch.
Video link:
Is this the sound of a slipping clutch?

Thanks for info, suggestions, assistance.

If you are in gear and have your clutch pedal out, as you say in your video, you (at least) have a clutch issue. Hard, but face the truth.
And if you where like hobbling before and not moving now: It's obviously getting worse...
The sound could be the throw-out-bearing. But who knows.
This video diagnostics imho is taking you nowhere substantial. The wrench is the tool of choice here, not the camera.
I agree with @LDowney : Make a plan to get into it, with good spirit and some fun.
If live hands you a lemon, make lemonade from it. (You may add some curses and some spirit, though).
Once you are in it, the community will gladly help with further advice, based on fact findings. I'm sure.
Heads up, buddy!
Best regards
Ralf

I did not pick up the odd noises that you mentioned, but my hearing might not be up to the task. [being an old geezer as you know]

However, in the video you mentioned that you started in 1st and were not moving with the clutch out. That is indicating at a minimum the clutch is ready for replacement.

Also in my previous note, I failed to identify the pilot bearing and throw-out bearing for replacement. If you are replacing the clutch, it is good practice to replacement too.

Yes; I'm just trying to put a parts order together and don't want to miss anything critical. Right now using Partsouq looking at:
Clutch disc, AISIN DT134
Cover / pressure plate: 3121060171
Release bearing: 3123060170
Pilot bearing: 9036312024
Release bearing clip: 3123236030
Fork ball: 3123660060
Fork boot: 3112660081
Bolts for pressure plate: 9011908079
Bolts for flywheel: 9010513009

I wasn't planning on replacing the fork.

For the flywheel - Questions:
1. Can they flywheel be resurfaced? I don't see anything in the RM-183e manual about resurfacing. It just references measuring runout and replacement if out of spec.
2. Any recommended sources for replacement flywheel, if needed?

Release bearing clip should come with your throw out bearing.

Replace rear main seal.

Replace clutch slave cylinder.

Replace clutch slave rubber hydraulic line as well.

Replace transmission cross member insulator if suspect.

Just confirming part numbers:
Rear main seal - 9031195008
Slave cylinder - 3147060201
Rubber hydraulic line - 9681250370 <-- Not finding this on Partsouq or at local dealer. Any suitable replacements?
Transmission cross member insulator <-- I've failed in locating a part number for this. Help !!

Is this the transmission cross member insulator that Onur referenced?
I could not find earlier as Partsouq has it labeled Engine Mounting Insulator.

Yes, that’s the one. As I recall the soft clutch line saw NLA when I replaced mine, I’ll see if I can find the part number I used as a substitute.

Well, not finding it. I thought I had ordered it online but it looks like I got it through a local parts store or the Toyota dealership. It would appear I used a brake line for a substitute. You may be able to take yours in to a parts store and find a Toyota brake line thats a similar length.
