I truly wonder about the average Ebay buyer.
This is an enlarged photo from a "nut and bolt" restoration currently on
Ebay ( current bid $45,000.00+ ).
I wouldn't spect to see rust ( even surface rust ) on a nut and bolt restoration, especially one in the 45K range.
Perhaps I am just being to picky......

It's a little concerning!

I think nut and bolt restoration is a loosely used term, much like "darling little fixer upper". All it means is the seller is trying to put a positive spin on a half-ass refurbishment.

If that is a legitimate nut and bolt restoration, it shouldn't have any rust, imperfections on the hinges, etc. It should look like it rolled off the showroom floor.

It makes you wonder if the bidders even look at the photos.
