I've never seen an Ironman drawer thread so I thought I'd start one.

Made in Australia. I believe they are made by Black Widow for Ironman. The closest Black Widow model is the "Travel Mate" which is a lighter duty and lighter weight version but has a 150KG load rating per drawer.

Right now, the 1000MM model (double drawer, side by side) is advertised at Dirty Parts for $895.50.

There is also a side/wing fitting kit available for the 100.

Black Widow seems to have a good reputation in Australia. Some complain of high weight of their "full duty" drawers and so maybe this is a good compromise in weight and price for some.

Looks like a group buy opportunity.

This is a good deal even at $999 since it pretty much cost me $800 to have my own metal drawers made by a local fabricator, but that included a top fridge slide and aircraft tie downs.

It seems a bit janky for $1000, maybe it's high quality once it's all assembled.

How much is a comparable ARB setup? How much to build a decent set of your own? (let's say using wood, decent hardware carpet or paint, not bedliner)

EDIT: Sorry, I was posting while the previous post occured. Opinions are still good on price, I know I want a set of drawers and wings for my LX, but not sure if I want to DIY, ARB, or this option yet.

TXLX ARB's are 1400 without accessories, tack another $100 on for fridge slide etc.

Price jumped up $100

I wonder if anyone has used the weatherguard units. Probably the strongest one available

So let me get this straight it’s $999 + 25% (increase coming) = $1,248.75 + $350 for the wing kit = $1,598.75? This is before shipping and tax. I am sorry but that is a lot of money for two drawlers. I have not seen the ARB drawler system in person but they look to be better in quality. Maybe someone and post up about the strength’s and weakness of each system.

I heard from a good source that Ironman was raising their prices so they won't be looked down upon. To not be considered the cheaper ARB brand, etc.

Sorry but that is a dumb road to travel down. Same quality at a lower price is what they should be shooting for.
