I want to install Ironman Load Plus helper springs on my HZJ77 but I can't find on the brochures which model (LP4 or LP9) is right for my truck. Are HZJ77 rear leaf springs the same size as those on a 76? Or 79?

are you running a heavy load all the time?
if not then consider air bags in the rear.
otherwise BBB has the answer.

Occasional heavy load, just can't tolerate seeing even a bit of sagging at the rear -
That's why I thought these helper springs might be good.

the air bag the rear, you can control the amount of droop/lift perfectly.
very easy to install
very cheap to purchase

I put air bags in my 78 (coil), for the same reasons you said and I love it . Air bags are empty when there is no load, and you still get the same ride. But when the time comes, throw in some air and level her out. To easy. As Wayne said, a easy and cheap solutionJoel.
