I am in the middle of an ironman lift. I have turned KDSS 3 turns. The struts are installed and everything buttoned up except the sway bar on the passenger side is not lining up. It is too high and very hard to pull down. Driver side is much better but tilted toward the front just enough to not allow the bolt to thread into the LCA. Any ideas? Lift the rear on a jack?

Not sure about the front but when my mechanic and I took apart the rear to put firestone helper airbags inside the rear springs we needed to use a ~5' steel bar to get enough leverage against the spring in order to be able to drop the rear the last ~1-2" to get the shocks and sway bar reattached and realigned properly. Physics is your friend

Try loosening or unbolting the sway bar from the frame, that will give you much more up/down and front/back movement. I found reattaching the bar to frame was much easier than the links to lower arms. You can also jack the rear axle up from one side or the other, or the break frame from one side or the other to force the bar to push down on a certain side.

Awesome will give that a try
thanks

When I did my install, for the passenger side, I used a 2x4 piece of wood then used it to lever down the sway bar, between the bar and frame. This got the sway bar down around 4-6 inches. Then I used a floor jack to jack up the lower control arm up to connect the link. It was a pain, but with the combination of the 2x4 and floor jack, I was able to get the link connected. Good luck bud!

@bjowett was right on. I removed the sway bar from the frame and was able to line everything up in like 5 minutes. Re-installing the sway bar bolts was easy also. I used the floor jack to raise it into place then bolted up. Many thanks bjowett
Thanks dc916 for the reply also
