IronMan BullBar, KM2 315 & IronMan 4" Lift (Pending)

Someone asked to see how much an Ironman BullBar affected the Stock Front suspension a while back. I fell no change at all with the front bumper. Had a chance to take some before cell phone pics while at the beach today.

KM2 315/75/16 are ordered.
4" IronMan Lift is waiting on shipment to arrive.

I'm leaving for a small vacation to the Florida Keys Tomorrow and I hope all pending Gear arrives while I'm there.

Next Post should be in 2 weeks with the 315's installed with stock suspension, then the last post should be the IronMan 4" Lift with all the caster corrections goodies.

After I recuperate from this build, a Winch and rear bumper are on my list.

Well, I guess that answers the question of "where do people in Puerto Rico go for vacations?"

Now, about the cost on that front bumper.....

I am curious as to how close you are to hitting the bump stops on your front axle when you are parked on level ground. My stock springs are worn and I only have a couple of inches of clearance, but everything is completely original. I am almost certain a bumper like the Ironman or ARB would have me riding or almost riding on my bump stops.

PS- Great looking rig and vacation spot!

WOW!

I just checked the space left on the front bump stops and its about 1" +/- with the bumper installed !!!

I havent felt any bottoming out, and the bump stops look new.

I guess that 4" lift is going to come in just in time.

Can you please get a lower shot being even with the bumper? I'm interested in how much it will protect the AC dryer.

Thank you.

Sorry an my way out to airport, but I did get a chance to take this pic.

Looks like my dryer sits a bit higher than it should, which is a good thing I think:hhmm:
It also seems the bumper has the dryer covered by a few inches.

Here is a pic I posted before.

Its take at almost level, just a bit higher, making the bumper look really low, but I think its just my cell phones camera lens and angle of pic.

Looked it up, and it's $75.00 shipping to my address. Not a bad price overall. Anyone beaten these up enough to know if they're equivocal to ARB?

If you use spring in the coupon code it's free shipping.

That's mighty tempting, right there. :hhmm:

How much do these weigh?

Looking at the shipping documents, gross was 175lb and the pallet was 50lb.
The bumper, winch mount and bolts weight about 125lb.

I am looking seriously int switch my ARB to my daughter's 80 and get me an Ironman...:steer:

Looking good!!!!:grinpimp:

Was it hard or easy to install?

It was a piece of cake to install. Stock bumper comes off in 5 minutes. Winch mount goes on in 5 minutes, using bolts into existing nut plates. Outer bumper goes on to winch mount with 6 more bolts. It took longer to unwrap then it did to install.....

So by this design it looks like you mount the winch to the carrier / subframe - and the bumper is a "floating" type thing?

Or do you mount the winch feet to the back of the face of this like an ARB?
