That's nice to hear that somebody liked Czech republic....I know he enjoyed it a lot..It is very different country..In NC me and my ex were cruising the Outer banks one year and seen about 10 FJ40 or 45s by the beach...I know there is the TLCA club over there...I m not in NC often at this moment..need to find the club here in Texas...My son worked for Tyco for a long time and became a builder and installer of plating lines. He was sent to the Czech Republic, Brno, for 90 days to supervise the installation of a new plating line and loved the area. The beer was terrific and he said the people were superb. I believe he still corresponds with a friend. Anyway, welcome to MUD and when you come to your NC cabin, be sure to look up the 40 owners here, there are a lot of 40's in NC.
Yeah, thats the winter clothes we used to wear in the Army!!In the mountains of Slovakia where I was stationed at the time was really cold.We slept in the tents with wood stoves in it.Not all the time just at the trainings.I love ushanka-I do have one made from real fur-don't need it here in TXI dont think I know of a single Czech
but I do wear a Czech military M85 throughout the winter months and the ushanka comes out at 10* or lessat some point i need to find the matching ushanka to the jacket the officers ushanka is just to warm for avg winter days
Being in Texas you have no worries about these things LOL
