I know my plan was to drive it stock for at least 3 years... I made it 3 months

"....red beans and rice did'n miss her...."She's beautiful, but way too big for a g-string...
Hahahahaha *off topic, but do you have isis as your display picture just for the sake of the cruisersLuckily Alex knows a good parts guy.
Dude....missed this when I was at your house for LR. You missed a good time.
Looking forward to see the 200 in a week or so. I'll be up in your area a lot more regularly.![]()
would be cool if the cool box would work while the car is off... Just guessing you'd have a lot of peops with dead batteries saying "who left the cool box on" F***Learning all kinds of stuff about this truck. I guess i need to get the owners manual out.
First, i think that the cool box is cool! Except, i don't like that it requires the AC to work... with the technology we have these days why not have a real fridge that runs independent and works when the truck is off?!
Second, i "think" i found a safety feature in the cruise control... when i was cruising down the highway the other day it was raining. I had the wipers on the auto sensing function... it started to rain heavy and the wipers switched to high; as soon as they did my cruise control would shut off and it would say cruise not available. But, if i turned the wipers to regular "on" function, the cruise would work.....
Third, getting used to the rear back up camera. After a week or so you do get used to it, but at first it was very sketchy for me.
Fourth, the gas mileage is hideous!!
Fifth, the radar cruise control is the best I've seen. At least it doesn't cut off! It takes a little getting used to, but it works pretty well. What i don't like about it is if a car in from of you is exiting and it slows, that causes you to slow, as soon as it exits, the cruise floors the accelerator to catch back up to what speed it was set at.. Also if a car exits in front of you, i've noticed the radar will really lock the brakes on... i don't like that.
The Radar unit is the Toyota symbol on the front grille of your rig(so far as I know?), what I have noticed after the past couple of years of driving is when that unit becomes covered in snow or simply determines that there is to much of whatever(rain, snow, dirt) in the air it simply shuts down... just what I have noticed over the past couple years...What is the stalk? The only option that i see with the radar cruise is basically a three level distance adjustment, far, medium or close... but not off.
I wonder how it senses the rain level? I assumed it was from the wiper blades? I came to that conclusion by trying the sensor wipers with cruise about three times during that heavy rain period and each time they turned on high, the cruise cut off. Then in the same rain conditions, i left the wipers on plain ol' on mode and the cruise never cut out.
