My name is Fil and been around West Africa for a bit, I own a Toyota Prado J90 2000 diesel KZ automatic.
I have a question:
The 4wd is not engaging anymore, when I put in 4H the differential lock sign goes off the dashboard, but when I put in drive the car does not move like it is in neutral, when I put in HL the differential lock comes back on dashboard and when I put in drive the car run normally, but in 2wd only. When I engage the LL I feel the ratio of the engine, but the front axel does not engage and it stays 2wd. all the rest runs smooth and no sounds come out from any other moving part. I am searching for a good mechanic that has knowledge of 4x4, but if you have any recommendations or step by step guide to check what is happening.
