Went out yesterday in the snow..pulled a car out of a ditch, did some light wheelin' by the river.

Gave up the 40 for this...very, very happy too. This truck is loaded with all the trail goodies. Have to put my winch in there. PO had a 8274 and a I have a 9500 so a new plate and I'm good to go

37x12.50 15s on TR Beadlocks. Those were mine and I kept them during the trade. Same with my winch.

For as big as they are...they proportionally fit..:cool:

Are you sure the air is off the smog pump and not the air conditioning comp? I thought the smog pump was just that, a pump.......

It's AC..you are correct. Was fiddlin' with it last night. It's a nice setup.
 
Why not the 3.4 swap instead of the 4.3??

It would be a shame to have a chevy engine in such a nice toyota......

I was thinking of the 3.4 swap but listening to my boys in the shop the 4.3 has been done time and again and well documented. I'm not an engine guy.

First choice would be a Turbo Diesal and will have all this year to marinate, change my mind a gazillion times, collect parts.

Cost will be an issue...but agree with you the more I marinate that it needs to stay pure Toyota.

The Color scheme was based on TRD's intro into Craftsman Truck Series, and the current Nascar paint schemes...
