Stand back, I'm gonna try something!!!! :D

Yreka is a little under 2 hours north of Redding on I5, so under 2.5 I'd say to Lewiston. If you take the back way through Etna, and down past Trinity lake it's a much nicer drive, and maybe even a little shorter than going around.

hello,
Just to confuse everyone, my name is the same as my screen name. I live down in Pacifica. Work scheduling and family issues have made it challenge to participate in many events but I have done a couple rubithons and the mcgrew a few years back, most recently was surf and turf. I still have my (no longer factory fresh) daily driver 94 22re mini truck. Modified slightly for (and by) the Rubicon. I was building a fj62 family wheeler but it has been converted back into a mall cruiser by its current owner. Looking for a new family wheeler for the new family that will haul three kids in comfort, tow a tent trailer and still scrape through a tough trail. I like mini's but have kinda outgrown them size/towing capacity. I am still flip flopping between a 60 with a h55/crawl box/SOA/arb lockers/etc or a mildly lifted deflared fender hacked fzj80 with factory lockers. I plan on being at Fun Day unless I have to work.

Welcome Jeb...sorta hopin' yer a descendant of Jeremiah...would be good to have a "mountain" man in the Pacific Mountain Cruisers :-)

No such prestigious background.
My family is from Iceland and Sweden.
Name originated with this fellow:

Although, his real name was James Ewell Brown Stuart.

Working on getting in, though I dont know how much I can attend :( I keep fairly busy here at Fairfield/Vacaville.

64 FJ45 SWB "Junkyard Dog"

I think everyone has seen the old pictures of it, so I'll refrain from using them, working on some new ones here shortly.

and a brief history
not an official member just yet of TLCA or PMC but, as soon as wifey ok me to spend some $$$$ im joining both. i ve posted alot of noob questions on mud, and was recomended this way by a mudder to start picking the local brain on a few things. been wheeling for as long and as frequently as i was able (not nearly enough lately) started with an 87 hilux my ex room mates (i baby sat it for about a year while he sorted out all that cool D.U.I. stuff) then to an 03 Taco that i did most of my wheeling in but i was pretty carefull didn't wanna hafta make payments on a toatled truck, bought an 84 hilux that was gunna be exclusivly my toy that got stolen nover to be seen again, sold the Taco to my parents cause there exploder blew up and bought my sami so i could wheel freely with no worries about damage, (made all of one wheeling trip in that) then decided i needed something that could actually hang on the freeway, so i bought my 1984 FJ60 btw. the coolest rig ive owned in my opinion, in the building process right now slowly but surely and as soon as i get some tires im gunna hit the trail, and as far as the lack of mountain men ill gladly fill that slot i strive to be todays Jeremiah Johnson, hunt hike explore camp backpack wheel, what ever gets me in the woods.
