Hi guys & gals,

Another newbie here, an AZ native living in Phx for about the last 12 years. I recently started looking for a Cruiser.

I'm looking forward to meeting folks at one of the get-togethers and chatting about Cruiser ownership.

In the meantime, if anyone knows of a nice FJ40 for sale please drop me a line to point me in the right direction.

Thanks, and looking forward to meeting y'all!

Welcome. Here is a nice 40 for sale in Phx AZ, https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-trailers-sale-wanted/448547-1974-resto-mod-fj40.html

I can vouch for this guy, well if you want me to, wait maybe you shouldn't say you know me, anyway I think I heard Ron is a good guy.

Good to see you back around Ron.

Welcome to the most informal collection of Toyota nuts I've had the pleasure to associate with.

Hi

I'm Chris. I met a few of you at the Sonic in January. I have a gray 95. Have done a bunch on interior mods, including leather and seat heaters. Getting ready to do a lift. Just sent in my membership and got my t-shirt and sticker.

Should add that I am an electrical engineer and can help with most electrical issues!

Hey!!!:crybaby::crybaby: Where is my shirt & sticker? Been waiting for it for months now!

OK, had to check out the CSC forum.

Chris and Andrea
Don't live in AZ yet but my wife did graduate from NAU; however, it looks as if I'll be moving from SOCAL to apply to the Maricopa Sheriff's Office in May for the June academy.

I'm currently a Private Security Contractor in Afghan and have been here since 07. Time to hang up this gig for a while and settle into a real job, being that I'm turning 40 in March.

Anywho, I have a Tan 1984 Fj60 with 84,000 orig miles which have been modestly modified. And a 1977, Stock, 95% restored White Fj40 for sale for $16,000. Sorry, that was shameless.

I'll try and hook with some of you all when I get to AZ in May for the week long hiring process.

Cheers.

On May 20th, Tempe Sonics.

Intro Time

....been lurking here for some time, even been to a Sonic meeting (had a white mini at the time). Figured it is past time to introduce myself. My name is Jamie, I now have a 98 4runner that replaced my mini after it was redecorated by a freeway guard rail. I hesitate to mention, I associate with Redmuttonchops (aka Will) since our younger days :P. I have a relatively equipped garage ( including home brew beer) and have installed a few lifts there (Redmuttons) as well. I enjoy expo type 4 wheelin and fantasize that my 4runner is a Cruiser on roids. Have posted some here and thought i should say hey there. Hoping to come by the meetings a bit more, if you'll allow a runner. Have yet to make it out to a trail run and look forward to getting out there wheelin with others...

My 4runner is relatively stock, with a homemade drawer system. Do most of my own metal fabing, bumpers etc. I currently am working on a lift design for the Tacoma/4runner series vehicle with a good friend and owner of Full-Traction Suspension - Suspension Lift Kits and Systems CALMINI Products Inc. - Suzuki, Nissan, Isuzu Suspension Systems and Lift Kits Hanson Offroad - High quality off-road bumpers and rocker guards for your Jeep PUREJEEP - Your new choice for Jeep® parts and accessories . He is venturing into the Toyota scene and we will be prototyping a lift for my truck in the next few weeks/month....and perhaps for those thirsty fellers, and armchair mechanics that want something to do (frosty home brew time) in a few weekends let me know. Any how....HI. it is me who has been stalking you, yes, me...:P

New to AZ

Hi,

My name is Eric and I have a Land Cruiser problem. My wife and I just moved here about a year ago from las vegas, NV, orignally from TX. I own a 1976 FJ40 which is going through an engine re-build after a frame off partial resto 3 years ago. I chose not to join the club in Vegas but stayed active with TLCA and the Crusie Moab runs yearly starting in 03. After this years Cruise Moab I decided that I should look into the clubs here in AZ. I live is scottsdale right on the edge of tempe so I am hoping there is a club meeting nearby.

Thanks.

Welcome. The CSC meet is pretty close to you. Sonic near Rural and Broadway in Tempe. Stop by next week :)

Hello. My name is Brian and I live in Mesa. I picked up a built 100 (to replace my Jeep) about 2 months ago and so far it's been a great vehicle. It's my first LC and I look forward to wheeling it and meeting all of you.

Once again I am reunited back to the Land Cruiser addiction. In 1998 I purchase my first car, a 1974 FJ40 when I was in high school, since then I have built Early Broncos, Jeeps, trucks and now I am back at it. Purchased a 1996 LX450 w/ low miles, ft and rr lockers, its in great shape. Plans are 4in Slee lift, 35in Toyos, armor, land ater a 5.3l and a 4l60e. I look forward to posting and sharing progress pictures!
