Rob,

Kick ass that you bought that truck. Wasn't ist around $6k or so? I tried talking one of my cousins into it but he balked. Glad to see that it made it to Az anyway. Now i can't wait to take Scott on a trail ride with you tagging along so he can see what he missed.

OUCH... Tucson, really??!! When did that survey come out and who were these people that participated in this poll? ;)

Welcome Ripleykantoo, you have to watch those waskly wattlesnakes I hear they bite when provoked. Especially those down in the old pueblo, they have quite an attitude since Tucson received the "bestest place in the world" title. It seems this is one of the myriad of ways they have chosen to subvert the title.

Furthermore, welcome Desertgirl66! I just want to thank you Kristina for relieving me of my title as the newest member to CSC. Now maybe, I won't get ditched on the next trail run. :grinpimp:

Salud Amigos!
D

Yeah, guess the newbees have to eat the dust on the trails! Well you guys in the front can scare up the rattlers and then I can shoo them off the trail:))

Looking forward to meeting everyone on the trail cleanup.

Hey everyone . Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jacob and my wife and I just moved to Phoenix about six months ago. We have(actually she has ) a 1997 Landcruiser with a 2.5 '' OME lift, and some BFG A/T. I'm really new to the 4x4 world but I'm already addicted just need some more mods.

Hello everyone! Name is Tom... Live in North Phoenix with my wife and kids. I own a '95 FZJ80 daily driver with 52,500 miles on it right now. The actual miles are correct. I bought it from a doctor's wife in Henderson, NV who never drove the thing. It's in PERFECT shape... I'm blessed to have found it. Anyway, I'm new to the whole forum thing and found IH8MUD a few months ago. I finally got on the forum today after a few months and love it.

I haven't been interested in 4 wheelin' but going on trails sounds really cool. I just wanted to introduce myself and get hooked up because I want to learn how to use my hands and fix things on this TLC and share the enthusiasm around the TLC. Currently my Pinion seal is leaking and it looks like I need to do a rebuild on the front axle. See Post (https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=65219).

Anyway, hello!

Welcome! Good to have you. I'm in N. Scottsdale so if you want to drive by at one point I can certainly take a look at your knuckles and see where the issues may reside outside of the pinion leak. No doubt you'll need to at least replace your diff fluid which is quite easy and cheap. As noted in your linked thread, there are plans for a birf party here soon (which is basically exactly what you'll be doing).

Thanks for the offer to take a look at it... I might just take you up on that. I did read about the Birf Party... sounds good! I'll find out more on that tonight online. I'll email you on checkin out my knuckles. Appreciate it!

Welcome Tom, sounds like a nice LC great color for AZ - I just bought a 97 with 40K on it :) See you at one of the meetings or on the trail!
