Hello Everyone:

My name is Juan and I just joined the club.

Hey, Juan. Welcome!!

Would you happen to be the same Juan who lived just north of me in Chandler about 8 years ago that had the '70 FJ-40 that 'crabbed' down the road?

I don't know if he's the same Juan you speak of, but I'll bet you know him anyway. ;)

Hey Steve, yes, it's still me, living in 4wheeler heaven. Good to hear that you are doing well, let me know next time you're in town and we'll get together for a beer.

Ah-ha!! I thought so. How ya doin, Mr. Urea??

(Hey, Cliff . . . this is like old-home week for me!)

You bet I'll look you up. And the beer will be on me. Good hearing from you again!

Hey Cliff, speaking of the old gang, is Iron Pig Mike Wheeler or Steve Beech around here anywhere?

No clue.
Last I heard of Steve he was talking about selling his '40. Years ago.
Mike, I thought, moved away. Not sure

Hi,

I'm Glen. The wife, kids and I moved to Tucson from Washington a few years back. We both have cruisers, as you can see by the sig. My wife has had her 40 for years, and calls it her dream vehicle. My 80 I've only had since '97 and am in the process of reviving it. I spun a con rod bearing, and my wife finished it by turning it into a constant knock, instead of a low oil pressure knock, but that's another story. :o

Does anybody know of a good machine shop in Tucson, one that is familar with Landcruiser engines? There's a lot of places, but instead of rolling the dice and picking one I was hoping someone in the area had some experience. I can do all the wrench work on it, I just want a machine shop that I can trust.

Thanks,

GlenBA

Hello.
My name is Ron,Im from Phoenix.
I just joined a few weeks ago. I have a 96 fj80, F&R lockers and all the options.
Been romping in the desert now for 10 years.
I just recieved my 6" lift kit from slee off road, and bfg Krawlers from Sears today. Just waiting on my wheels to get here.
Hope to take her out soon after the lift and tires to see what she an do.

I live in Flagstaff and have a couple of Cruisers - a 1971 that has been in my family since '73. Bought it from my mom after my father passed away about 1 year ago and started to modify it a bit with 4 wheel discs, 4" skyjacker lift, and new tires/wheels. Not going to do much more modifications past that other than a paint job.

I recently bought a '78 FJ45 that was imported from Costa Rica. It is pretty stock now with a bit of body cancer and my goal is to get it back to a stock rig.

Haven't done any of the functions w/ other FJ people yet, but hopefully will in the future.

Brian
