International Cruiser Specifications (1 Viewer)

Anyone know of a good webpage for international cruiser specifications? I've read the land cruiser FAQ (http://www.off-road.com/tlc/faq/faq.txt) and Wayne has a good start (http://www.luxuryimports.ca/vehicles/specs.php) but I'm looking for a page with everything. With the number of different 70 series we are seeing now it would be great to have a page to refer to that lists all the different models (i.e. 61/62/70/71/74/75/77/78/79/81/90/101/105/etc in BJ/HJ/HZJ/PZJ/LJ/HDJ/etc flavors).

If such a page does not exist I would be more than willing to create one but I would need your help as I only know the specifications for a select few. I was thinking along the lines of the following information for each model:

Year(s) Offered
Body Style(s)
Engine
Tranmission(s)
Brakes
Tires
Suspension
Transfer Case & 4WD Data (Locker(s)/Limited Slip Etc)
Fuel Economy Est.

I did a search and read the FAQ so sorry if I missed something.

Are you going to attempt this for all markets or just JDM? The former will be a challenge, there's not a lot of information out there and what's available often conflicts with other sources. To give you an idea, an FJ62 in the US, Panama, Venezuela, Japan, Korea and Saudi Arabia have vastly different specs, ranging from front drum brakes and carburated 3Fs to factory DANA 60 axles and tropical-spec radiators.

I was just thinking about JDM to start since those are the ones that really apply to us canuks (since we can import them). Could probably add other market stuff if people wanted and had the info later on though.

That makes sense, should be a lot easier to capture and most of that information is readily available on this board.

Alrighty sounds like I should get to it then. First thing I'll need is a list of all JDM cruisers (probably starting with the 61 all the way up to the 105). Here are the ones I can think of off hand:

I think I'm missing some of the 75 series, some of the 77 series, some of the 78 series and some of the 79 series? Maybe even the 70/71/74 as well, not sure. If you guys can fill in everything I've missed that'd be great. I'm just starting on a template for the webpage now.

Looks like I missed the 73... and looks like there are light duty versions of the 70/71/73

The 75 /78/79 was not sold in Japan in either troopy or cab chassis.
Japanese owners reimport them from Australia.

This site has a link on it to all the Toyotas ever made with production numbers,but is not country specific.

I thought an LJ-78 is a light duty truck .. with 8" diff, but HZJ-75 is a heavy duty truck with 9.5" diff.

the LJ78 is not CDM but yes it is considered to be light duty

Alrighty well heres the start, what do you think? I think the top picture is too large but I'm having a devil of a time finding a picture of a 70 series with enough scenery around it to cut the picture down to 800x150 (Current pic is 800x300).

Anyways now all I actually have to do is add content.
