Interior lights - already did a search

So I've got a slew of 40's and a 45, but just into a 100 ('05 with 70k)and I need to make sure my head is on correctly as it relates to interiors lights. Set me right on the following:

1) I know the hi/lo light for the heated seats go on when pressed, but when the headlights are on should the hi/lo be illuminated or just the heated seat icon?

2) Same issue with the mirror controls should they have illumination when the headlights are on?

3) Do the side window vent controls open/close illuminated when the headlights are on or just that icon?

4) how about the ECT/2nd start buttons dark or illuminated when headlights are on?

5) Lights in the stalk are the any?

These are all luxuries of course but my wife's going to drive this thing and I just want to get it dialed. We've got a big BMW for the summer so this will replace the Tahoe for winter drivInc (600 miles a week) and I want to get it sorted before winter.

Seems odd that some of this stuff wouldn't be illuminated because until your completely familiar with the vehicle the stumbling around like Ray Charles in the cabin at night.

From memory right now....
1) heated seat switches come on when they are selected (high or low), but the switch is not illuminated, only your selection when operational.
2) Side Mirror controls do not light up.
3) Rear window controls do not light up. (nothing on that left side aux panel does unless you add "something" there yourself)
4) ECT/2nd do not light up. Only indication that they are operational will be indicated on the gauge cluster when selected.
5) No lights on the stalk.

I am recalling this from a 1999, but things may have changed over the years.
