2006 100 series, 220K miles (AHC) fuel guage stuck on empty when truck is full. Had it in to the dealer who have diagnosed a faulty combi meter in the instrument cluster. They cannot find the replacement part, I called every scrap yard and searched online Toyota parts places with no luck except one place in CA who want over $1000 for the part. My only hope will be a forum such as this with someone parting out the vehicle. Just throwing it out there as a long shot or if anyone knows of another resource.

Thanks.

06-07LC w/ AHC is a bit of a rare bird. Everybody wants them but over time, they will be the most difficult (relatively speaking) to source the specific parts.

I have the same issue on my 2004. I've heard good things about Tanin, but they are asking $700 for the repari, so i've lived with a non-working gas gauge for 4 years.

Keeps you on your toes for sure

Did "Dealer", just make the call. Or did they actually test the circuit. Which a big part of, is making sure fuel pump assembly is sending signal.

Quick update, after scouring the web and scrap yards and not finding anything I decided to go the repair route. I found a specialty shop in Toronto that does only dashboard cluster repair and shipped it off to them. They tested it for 4 hours and sent me back a video showing that it was in perfect working order, nothing ever wrong with it. I emailed the dealer explaining the findings along with attached invoices for shipping and diagnostic with the expectation they'll cover those costs - it's now with the service manager so waiting to hear.

So what's the issue if it's not the fuel pump, sending unit or instrument cluster? Wiring maybe?
