Well...Christo is doing his best to talk me into a 200
. So while being at his shop the past few days he countered to my "my 100 has more clearance than the 200...and that is one reason I wouldn't consider a 200..." by saying he thought the front clearance to ground looked very similar between the 200 in his shop and my 35" equipped 100. It just didn't look like it to me. So today, before I left, Christo pulled out a tape measure and the end result was quite surprising to me!
Max front clearance (measured from ground to diff bracket): 13.25" (200 series with 32" rubber) and OME coilovers)
Max front clearance (measured from ground to diff drop bracket: 13.5" (100 series with 35" rubber and ~ 2.75" lift).
Amazing! Put the 35" on the 200 and the clearance would be quite impressive to say the least! And the CV and steering tie rod angles are not near as acute as my 100!
Now if we can just do something about the approach and departure angles ...Hmmm...maybe I need to be looking for a deal on a twundy! But Christo has to build a front bumper for one first
