I'm working on a members 80 Series Depo headlights tonight and will take some detailed pictures.

The 40 Series would not be hard at all. I just need a member to send me a pair if headlights they want to be retrofitted. They need to be clear lens by the way. Any body want to step up and be the test subject?

Also have the ability to engrave the lens. These are going on my 100 soon.

Alright, for you 80 Series guys. I am working on a line with a Depo Dealer in the US to get the MUD community a reputable source for headlights. They will be added to my website, as well as the options for a retrofit setup.

Easy to find, easy to figure out what you are getting. Hopefully a lower price than what the current eBay offerings have.

I'm interested...

How much for a quad 80 setup. Bi xenon on all 4.

Just a bump for Nick.

Great to work with, great product and he definitely gives great customer service long after the sale.

Thanks! It was good talking with you! As always, you call me at midnight with some crazy issue while packing for some elaborate wheeling trip the next day :flipoff:

Glad you like them and thanks for the bump!

Hi there,
I'm interested in a quad Bi-Xenon for my 80 series as well... I'm new to this community so I'm not familiar as to how to pm you directly.. Please let me know ...

Thanks,
Nick

@2000UZJ Nick! You still doing this? I sent you a PM a few weeks ago asking about this too. Just found this old thread today. Hook a fella that's getting old and having difficulty driving at night with weak headlights up!

Cheers,
Salue

Does anyone know if the original thread starter still offers this retrofit service? I am interested in getting some 80 series lights done with D2S projectors.

Maybe someone else on this forum runs a similar service? Looks like the OP hasn’t responded to this thread in a while.

I think it's TEQ here Retrofit Headlights / 80 Series Land Cruiser (90-97) / TEQ Customs - https://teqcustoms.com/products/retrofit-headlights-80-series-land-cruiser-90-97-teq-customs?pr_prod_strat=copurchase&pr_rec_id=67d89db9b&pr_rec_pid=8165509103853&pr_ref_pid=8204465471725&pr_seq=uniform

Hey all! Wow, it’s been a long time!

I sold 100 in 2014, and stopped doing retrofits as life got a lot busier.

I am back on MUD more frequently, but do not build headlights anymore. I’m happy to answer questions, guidance and troubleshooting though. I still work on the headlight industry :)

Cool. I wasn't sure - saw the TEQ example you had and assumed wrongly if this was you or not. Looks like different TEQ logo I linked anyhow.

I'm also looking at the depo with D2S projectors retrofits- that seems to be best of the best? Your thoughts?

I’m about to do this mod following your original directions. Would you do anything differently this day and age? It’s been a good decade+ since this was posted. What sealant/glue do you recommend currently to use to seal the lenses after retrofit?
