Cool. I wasn't sure - saw the TEQ example you had and assumed wrongly if this was you or not. Looks like different TEQ logo I linked anyhow.

I'm also looking at the depo with D2S projectors retrofits- that seems to be best of the best? Your thoughts?

Since the 80 uses H4 on the DEPO's, you could use the D2S Projector, or the M-LED. Both are the same output if you use a 35W 5K HID bulb as the base.

The M-LED reduces failure points, and is far less wiring but the major downside is if the projector fails, you have to crack the headlight open and replace the projector rather than the bulb.

FWIW: I run M-LED 2.0's in my 100 Series and the wiring is super simple.

I’m about to do this mod following your original directions. Would you do anything differently this day and age? It’s been a good decade+ since this was posted. What sealant/glue do you recommend currently to use to seal the lenses after retrofit?
I can't tell if you have a LandCruiser, or an LX470. If it's a Land Cruiser, and you are not looking for major surgery the Mini H1 Projector is the way to go. If you aren't afraid of some cutting, the Mini D2S or M-LED is the way to go. Bigger lens, more bulb options, OEM compatible (Toyota/Denso OEM HID components, D2S Projector).

The car is a 94 Toyota Land Cruiser.
