GB from G&S Cruiser Parts mentioned the need for a comprehensive list of aftermarket parts and or cheap fixes. Some out of other Toyotas, some out of...whatever.

I'll start.

Anyone with sagging doors (hinges) on their 60 series or 70 series. The door hinges from any similar vintage (up to 1992 I think) Camry, Tercel, Supra, Celica, Corolla, Forerunner and so on are EXACTLY THE SAME. It's cheap from a wrecker, iand it works like a damn.

Craig in Calgary.

PS
Feel free to add in you own fixes. Maybe some ambitious person will collate the list. Probably not me though.

Here's another one;
Belts from NAPA....way cheaper than Toyota and they are actually the correct B-Width belts;
3B Alternator belt (part no. 15A1205)
3B Power steering belt (part no. 15A1540)

Craig.
