What are the torque specs. on the 5 bolts that mate the intake and exhaust manifolds together on my 86' 60. thanks.

36 ft lbs. make sure you follow the correct tighting pattern. There is a manual in Mud somewhere you can down load and check it out.
I replaced my manifold gasket two weeks ago and retorqued them yesterday. Make sure you retorque after 5 or 6 heat and cool cycles.

Trying to also find the torque specs for the mateing of the exhaust and intake, not for the exh/int to the head. This is the area that has the two gaskets and the heat riser thingy that moves when it warms up to temp.

Thanks

There is no specific spec in the manuals, just snug them up. I use a 3/8 ratchet to avoid over-tightening.

I like to leave them a little loose until I have the manifolds torqued to the block.then I sung up the five that hold the two manifolds together. I have had good luck not getting in/ex leaks this way.
