Question, my fuel, water temp, and oil pressure gauges stopped working same time......fuses appear good....AMP gauge is good to go.....is this a ground issue? Thanks for your time....

Could be a ground issue. Fuses can look good and yet be bad. Use a VOM or a test light across the fuses. Unhook the battery ground and use like a 30 cal bore brush in the fuse clips if it has the glass tube type to clean the contacts.

What year? It actually makes a difference to diagnosis.

Generally speaking, when all three gauges stop working at the same time, it’s a power supply issue.

Disconnect the battery before you do anything else. Too easy to bump one of the ammeter terminals when removing the cluster. You can reconnect the battery once the cluster is out of the dash and test the power lead where it meets the circuit board. Report back.

Do the green turn signals light up? If yes then it's not a ground issue.
Does your blower work? If it does then you have power.

Check that you have power on both sides of Each fuse.

Reach up behind the dash and reseat the circular connector.
It often works loose.

Hi @54Dougal, all, @Kikkoman

I also ran into this issue and I do not have power to the blower motor. I replaced the battery earlier and thought that may have blown the fuse. Confirmed the battery connection was clean and had a great connection.

The power to the blower comes from (in my 1971 LC) the 5th fuse in the fuse box. All I did is what was suggested above:

1. Confirm the fuse is good and voltage (All I had to do is wiggle the fuse back and forth, it had been jostled when I replaced the radio antenna)
2. Re-seat the barrel behind the dash as it does come loose.

Hopefully that solves your issue. Let us know.

Same happened to me my cluster has been working then all of the sudden all the gauges had no power. It turn out to be the gauges feed wire connected to the fuse block. I wiggled the fuse and the fuse block and it came back up. New fuse block. Will replace the fuse block with another one knowing it does this. Oh and mine is a 71 FJ40.

There's no need to replace the fuse block, it's a common problem. If it persists, disconnect the battery remove the fuses and clean the contacts.

If you have power to the gauge cluster Reach up under the steering column to the left and when you feel the big wiring harness bundle give it a shake mine was just loose and once I did that the issue disappeared.

I forgot to mention this is a new replacement.
The original one had a crack.
This one I have not even a year old.
It's a new block but with the old harness connected to it?
The crimp connections on the big plugs on the back can get corroded - take a closer look and recrimp them if needed
