I want the backlighting on the SP to come on with the headlights. Since the power module is in the cab, I can't easily tap into a dimming wire for a trigger. So, the instructions say to "connect this wire to a parking light signal or a side marker light signal". Has anyone done this and recommend an area to easily tap? Just wanted to check here before I dig in to see if anyone has a recommendation. Thanks.

Already saw that thread, but I have a 2018 and the fuse box is quite a bit different, so it won’t work as shown in my 200. Also, I don’t want to do that setup and sacrifice my factory relay. I’m just looking for a place to tap in if someone has done it.

I used a fuse tap.

How did you get that orientation of the Add-a-fuse to work? The positive side of that fuse row is the left hand side, the side of the add-a-fuse opposite lead is the side that need to pick up the positive.
I will have to look again. I believe that section had the lead on the other side. I will look this evening.
