Just curious, is the inner fender opening bigger on 7* series with 13BT winged sumps?
I just installed a 14BT in my BJ75 and only cut off the USDS wing of the 14BT sump (to clear the diferential housing), I could have swapped sumps from my 3BII as it would have fit, but want to keep that engine as whole as possible for re-use/resale and not start robbing parts off it.
Anyway, I got the 14BT in sans starter, and went to install the starter and it won't fit up from the bottom now as the wing on the oil sump is in the way. No way its going in from the top either. My only other option is to take a sawzall to the inner fender I think. Something I'm not too keen on doing.
Anyone out there have a 13BT with a winged sump? Could you post up a photo of the starter side inner fender?
