Long time first time 
I bought a two owner 2000 Lexus LX 470 with only 155k miles and no nav just a few months ago.
I wanted to add wireless CarPlay without having to replace the factory stereo. Plus due to my other cars back up cameras and cross traffic alert my reverse driving has atrophied so I desperately needed a back up camera installed.
I’m just a little bit handy so I installed it myself and ran all the wires through the body paneling. The back up camera is connected to the reverse lights so it’s only enabled when I switch into reverse.
Ran the cable through the rear along with the factory wiring, then put it behind the upper interior panels to the front.
I tucked most of the cables in through the dash and have not yet hardwired it into the fuse box so the excess power cable from plugging into the lighter is hidden away in my mostly closed ashtray.
I’m kinda proud of my LX and my work and just wanted to share.
