Unfortunately I have heard the same which would not excite me about getting one of his bumpers. A friend also ordered a bumper for another vehicle and they had a prearranged time for it to be picked up in Denver; this friend was coming from out of state. He tried to confirm weeks before leaving that it would be ready when arriving, zero response. He was nervous he had been taken for a ride and was about to charge it back on the credit card. Either way he had to make the trip so he waited and then just showed up at their facility. Luckily they had one for his vehicle ready to go; whether it was his or another customer's is unknown. So in the end he got it when expected but there was certainly some nervousness and uncertainty when he could never get follow up detail with them. Either way, I'll be going another route even though I do like the bumper (especially with that custom hoop!).

I don’t think your being critical. I would feel the same. A shop doesn’t move in three months without some prior planning.

I would also have expected to be informed they were moving and a possible delay in shipping. You would have been informed and not stressed about it. And had choices.

I contact the shop about a warm 8724 and he answered both my emails in less than 24hrs and on a weekend. I like the bumper and plan on ordering next year.

I’m just glad you were able to find someone take it off your hands and really look forward to pics of the shorter stinger.

I got the bumper this morning. It looks good, but the frame mount it hitting the sides of the bumper before it sits flush, leaving about a 3/8" gap. The stinger is 1.75" diameter. Here are the pictures that people were asking for. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sh*t man. I’m sorry to hear that. Something that can be remedied without to much trouble? If you need to spend some money to get it fixed so it can be mounted correctly let me know and I’ll help out. Although I didn’t build it, I’m not in the business of screwing people over. And, unfortunately, I doubt Addicted will be volunteering to make things right.

I am planning on cutting the corners that are hitting at an angle and then welding a plate in. We have the ability where I work to do this so it shouldn't be a big issue. I don't feel like test fitting before powder coating so I will keep my fingers crossed that everything else fits as should. I appreciate your concern but it seems like an easy fix.

Okay, if i would have purchased this i dont have the welding equipment or skills to attempt this. Would Addicted be on the hook to fix? And how if they are states away?

Is this something that can be bent or pounded to fit?

I could have installed spacers between the bumper and mount plate. I ended up just cutting a portion out of the mount plate on each side. I was worried that I would have to trim the frame rails if I angled the corners too much. The OP had no issues with his, so this could have been a one time issue.

Thank you. Cant wait to see it on your ride. Looking forward to comparing that stinger.

I got the bumper back from powder coating and installed it today. I am very pleased with the looks of the bumper. The install took a little extra work because this bumper is designed to fit a 98-02 LC. I emailed Scotty about the issues and he responded immediately and asked my to give him a call. He said the bumper was designed around a 99. I offered to modify his drawings for 03+ and he will send me a new bumper with my design changes and I will make any additional modifications and update the drawings again at that point. I am lucky enough to work at a company that does metal fabrication. The previous issue I posted about seems to be a fluke and he will send me a new mounting plate as well. I am very happy with the outcome and I look forward to helping him make the design changes necessary for 03+ vehicles.
